I am a loving, caring, and enthusiastic licensed family daycare provider and preschool teacher with over 18 years of experience. I currently hold a preschool teacher's permit and continuously attend workshops and trainings to provide quality care for my families. I am also a current member of the Child Nutrition Program of Southern California. I provide the children with home made nutritional meals and teach them about healthy eating habits.
My number one priority is that your child feels safe, loved and comfortable under my care. I provide a loving and safe environment where your child will learn through hands on experiences, exploration, positive reinforcement, and at their own pace. The environment is set up with consideration of the children's ages, interests, and needs. My emphasis is in providing children the opportunity to develop their social, cognitive, language, and motor skills through a variety of activities such as music and dancing, book discussions, conversation, art, science, outdoor games and more. In my preschool, children are given the tools and experiences to develop the skills needed for kindergarten. In addition, I also introduce Spanish in a very casual and fun way, through conversation and every day experiences.

"Carla is a loving and committed care provider. Our son began attending her daycare when he was about 2 years old and continued until the day before he started transitional kindergarten. "My daughter attended teacher Carla's daycare for almost 3 years and she loved it! She provides the children with all the necessary tools to succeed when they transition into kindergarten. My daughter learned how to write her full name, colors, numbers, alphabet, how to share, communicate and leadership skills amongst other things. The facility is very clean and organized and has a very welcoming vibe. Carla was very communicative with us about any activities, school functions or programs that they offered so we were kept in the loop of everything that was going on in the center.
